Labs commonly used are: The Doctors Laboratory, Genova Diagnostics, dnaLife, Nordic Labs, Cyrex, Great Plains, Labrix, Doctor’s Data and Biolab.
The laboratory tests will be ordered and the kits sent home for you to carry out. Full instructions for specimen taking and returns will accompany each test and it is important to read these in full prior to testing. This typically involves the sampling of saliva, urine or stool which can be conducted at home and sent back to the laboratories with a courier. In the case of blood sampling, where required you will be given the details of local blood draw clinics. Results take between ten working days and four weeks to turn around and will be discussed and presented to you at a follow-up consultation.
